7.Ensurethatthenewpowersupplyisthecorrectreplacement.Somepowersuppliesautomatically
sensethevoltage,somepowersuppliesarevoltagespecic,andsomepowersupplieshavea
voltage-selectionswitch.Ifthereisavoltage-selectionswitch,useaballpointpentoslidetheswitch,if
necessary.
Note:Formodelsthathaveaswitch:
Ifthevoltagesupplyrangeis100–127VAC,settheswitchto115V.
Ifthevoltagesupplyrangeis200–240VAC,settheswitchto230V.
8.Installthenewpowersupplyintothechassissothatthescrewholesinthepowersupplyalignwith
thoseinthechassis.
Note:UseonlythescrewsprovidedbyLenovo.
9.Installandtightenthevescrewsattherearofthechassistosecurethepowersupply.Reconnectall
powersupplycablestothedrives,adaptercards,andthesystemboard.Makesuretoreconnectthe
powercabletothegraphicscardsthatrequireanadditionalcable.
