Ifyoucannotcorrecttheproblem,havethecomputerserviced.Refertothesafety
andwarrantyinformationthatisprovidedwithyourcomputerforalistofservice
andsupporttelephonenumbers.
Themousedoesnotwork.The
computerdoesnotrespondto
themouse.
Verifythat:
•Thecomputeristurnedon.
•Themouseissecurelyconnectedtothemouseconnectoronthecomputer.
•Themouseisclean.Referto“Cleaninganopticalmouse”onpage30forfurther
information.
Ifyoucannotcorrecttheproblem,havethecomputerserviced.Refertothesafety
andwarrantyinformationthatisprovidedwithyourcomputerforalistofservice
andsupporttelephonenumbers.
Theoperatingsystemwillnot
start.
Verifythat:
•Thereisnodisketteinthediskettedrive.
•Thestartupsequenceincludesthedevicewheretheoperatingsystemresides.

Ifyoucannotcorrecttheproblem,havethecomputerserviced.Refertothesafety

Thecomputerbeepsmultiple
timesbeforetheoperating
systemstarts.
Verifythatnokeysarestuckdown.
Ifyoucannotcorrecttheproblem,havethecomputerserviced.Refertothesafety
