Ifthecoin-cellbatteryisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thecoin-cellbattery
containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:
•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
•Keepthebatteryawayfromfire.
•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
•Donotshort-circuitit.
•Donotdrop,crush,orpuncturethebattery,ormakeitsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseor
mishandlingcancausethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorflameto“vent”from
thebatterypackorcoin-cellbattery.
Toreplacethecoin-cellbattery,dothefollowing:
1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage109.
2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.
3.Removetheremovablebattery.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage110.
4.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage113.
5.Detachtheconnector1,andthenremovethecoin-cellbattery2.
