5.Whenthediagnosticsprogramopens,followtheinstructionsonthescreen.

Note:Ifyouarerunningdiagnosticsfromadiskette,whenprompted,removetherstdisketteand

inserttheseconddiskette.

6.Whentheprogramnishes,besuretoremovetheCDordiskettefromthedrive.

7.Selectthediagnostictestyouwanttorun.PresstheF1keyforadditionalhelp.

•Usingthecursormovementkeys,highlightRunNormalTestorRunQuickTestfromtheDiagnostics

menuandthenpressEnter.Thisautomaticallyrunsapre-denedgroupoftestsfromeachtestcategory.

RunNormalTestrunsamoreextensivesetofteststhandoesRunQuickTestandtakeslongerto

complete.

•PressF5toautomaticallyrunallselectedtestsinallcategories.

•Fromwithinatestcategory,pressCtrl-Entertoautomaticallyrunonlytheselectedtestsinthatcategory.

•Usingthecursormovementkeys,highlightasingletestwithinatestcategory,andthenpressEnter.

Thisrunsonlythattest.

PressEscatanytimetostopthetestingprocess.

Testresults(N/A,PASSED,FAILED,ABORTED)aredisplayedintheeldbesidethetestdescriptionandin

thetestlog.See"Viewingthetestlog"onpage36.
