CompletingtheFRUreplacement

AfterreplacingFRUs,youneedtoinstallanyremovedparts,replacethecover,andreconnectanycables,

includingtelephonelinesandpowercords.Also,dependingontheFRUthatisreplaced,youmightneedto

conrmtheupdatedinformationintheSetupUtilityprogram.

Note:Whenthepowercordisrstpluggedin,thecomputermightappeartoturnonforafewsecondsand

thenturnoff.Thisisanormalsequencetoenablethecomputertoinitialize.

1.Ensurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrewsareleft

insideyourcomputer.

2.Repositionanycablesthatmightimpedethereplacementofthecomputercover.

Important:Correctlyrouteallpowersupplycablestoavoidinterferencewiththedrivebayassembly.

Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesofthecomputerchassis.

3.Positionthecomputercoveronthechassissothattherailguidesonthesidesofthecoverengagethe

railsandpushthecovertotheclosedpositionuntilitsnapsintoposition.
