Iftherechargeablebatteryisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery

containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatteryawayfromﬁre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan

causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorﬂameto"vent"fromthebattery.

Toreplacetheremovablebattery,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectitfromacpowerandallcables.

2.Closethecomputerdisplayandturnthecomputerover.

3.Slidethebatterylatch1totheunlockedposition.Removethebattery2.

4.Insertanewbattery1,andthenpressituntilitclicksintoplace2.Ensurethatthebatterylatchis

inthelockedposition.

5.Turnthecomputerover.Connecttheacpoweradapterandallcablestothecomputer.
