Usingthecamera
Ifyourcomputerhasacamera,youcanusethecameratopreviewyourvideoimageandtakeasnapshot
ofyourcurrentimage.
Tostartthecamera,opentheStartmenuandclickCamera.
Whenthecameraisstarted,theindicatoristurnedoningreen,indicatingthatthecameraisinuse.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
startsandthecamerastatusindicatornearbyturnsoningreen.Formoreinformationaboutusingthe
camerawithaprogram,seethehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dooneofthefollowing:
•OpentheCameraapp,andclickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•OpentheStartmenuandthenclickLenovoSettings➙Camera.Followtheinstructionsonthescreento
configurethecamerasettings.
Usingthecolorsensor
Thecolorsensorenablesyoutomeasureandadjustthecoloraccuracyofyourcomputerdisplay.Therefore,
acolorimageorgraphicisrenderedascloseaspossibletoitsoriginalintent.ThecolorprofileforThinkPad
computerdisplaysispreinstalledonyourcomputer.Ifyouwanttoinstalladifferentcolorprofile,goto:

Tousethecolorsensor,opentheStartmenu,clickX-Rite➙PANTONEColorCalibrator,andthenfollow
theinstructionsonthescreen.
Whenthecolorsensorisinuse,thecolor-sensorindicatoronthecomputerouterlidblinkstwiceatregular
intervals.Whenthecolormeasuringandadjustmentfinishes,thecolor-sensorindicatorstayson.
Afteryouusethecolorsensorforthefirsttime,acalibrationprofileECCM2SensorData.datisgenerated.Back
upthiscalibrationprofileonanexternalstoragedeviceincasethatboththecolorsensorandtheinternal
storagedevicearereplaced.
