UsingtheBluetoothconnection
Bluetoothcanconnectdevicesashortdistancefromoneanother,andiscommonlyusedforconnecting
peripheraldevicestoacomputer,transferringdatabetweenhand-helddevicesandapersonalcomputer,or
remotelycontrollingandcommunicatingwithdevicessuchasmobilephones.
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermightsupporttheBluetoothfeature.Totransferdatathrough
theBluetoothfeature,dothefollowing:
Note:Ifyouusethewirelessfeature(the802.11standards)ofyourcomputersimultaneouslywitha
Bluetoothoption,thedatatransmissionspeedcanbedelayedandtheperformanceofthewirelessfeature
canbedegraded.
1.EnsurethattheBluetoothfeatureisenabled.
•ForWindows7:Pressthewireless-radioscontrolkeyandturnontheBluetoothfeature.
•ForWindows8.1:
a.Moveyourpointertothetop-rightorbottom-rightcornerofthescreentodisplaythecharms.
b.ClickSettings➙ChangePCsettings➙PCanddevices➙Bluetooth.
c.TurnontheBluetoothfeature.
•ForWindows10:Dooneofthefollowing:
–OpentheStartmenuandthenclickSettings.IfSettingsisnotdisplayed,clickAllappstodisplay
allprograms,andthenclickSettings➙Devices➙Bluetooth.TurnontheBluetoothfeature.
–OpentheStartmenuandthenclickSettings.IfSettingsisnotdisplayed,clickAllappsto
displayallprograms,andthenclickSettings➙Network&Internet➙Airplanemode.Turnon
theBluetoothfeature.
2.Right-clickthedatathatyouwanttosend.
3.SelectSendTo➙BluetoothDevices.
4.SelectaBluetoothdevice,andthenfollowtheinstructionsonthescreen.

Usinganexternaldisplay
Youcanuseanexternaldisplaysuchasaprojectororamonitortogivepresentationsortoexpandyour
workspace.Thistopicintroduceshowtoconnectanexternaldisplay,choosedisplaymodes,andchange
displaysettings.
Yourcomputersupportsthefollowingvideoresolution,providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthat
resolution.
•Upto1920x1200,withanexternaldisplayconnectedtotheVGAconnector
•Upto2560x1600,withanexternaldisplayconnectedtotheminiDisplayPortconnector
