Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaflashmediacard,orasmartcard,donotputyourcomputer
intosleeporhibernationmodebeforethedatatransferiscompleted;otherwise,yourdatacouldget
damaged.
Installingaflashmediacardorasmartcard
Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinstallacard,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.Insertthecardfirmlyintothe4-in-1mediacardreaderslotorsmartcardreaderslot.
Iftheplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabledfortheinstalledflashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenable
thefeature:
1.OpenControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
Removingaflashmediacardorasmartcard
Attention:
•Beforeremovingacard,stopthecardfirst.Otherwise,dataonthecardmightbecorruptedorlost.
•Donotremoveacardwhilethecomputerisinsleepmodeorhibernationmode.Otherwise,thesystem
mightnotrespondwhenyoutrytoresumeoperation.
Toremoveacard,dothefollowing:
1.ClickthetriangulariconintheWindowsnotificationareatoshowhiddenicons.Then,right-clickthe
SafelyRemoveHardwareandEjectMediaicon.
2.Selecttheitemyouwanttoremovetostopthecard.
