1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage123.
2.Closethecomputerdisplayandturnthecomputerover.
3.Removethebatterypack.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage124.
4.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage132.
5.Disconnectthedrivecablefromthesystemboardandremovethescrewthatsecuresthedrive.
6.Liftthedrivebythescrew-tabsideandpullthedriveoutofthedrivebayslightly1.Gentlypulloutthe
drivecablethroughthestorage-drivestabilizerbar2andthenremovethedrive.
