Note:Ifanunauthorizedbatteryisinstalled,thefollowingmessageisdisplayed:“Thebatteryinstalledis

notsupportedbythissystemandwillnotcharge.PleasereplacethebatterywiththecorrectLenovo

batteryforthissystem.”

DANGER

Donotattempttodisassembleormodifythebatterypack.

Attemptingtodosocancauseanexplosion,orliquidleakagefromthebatterypack.

AbatterypackotherthantheonespeciﬁedbyLenovo,oradisassembledormodiﬁedbattery

packisnotcoveredbythewarranty.

Iftherechargeablebatterypackisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery

containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatterypackawayfromﬁre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Storeitinacooldryplace.

•Keepitawayfromchildren.

Thebatteryisaconsumablesupply.Ifyourbatterybeginstodischargetooquickly,replacethebatterypack

withanewoneofthetypesrecommendedbyLenovo.Formoreinformationaboutreplacingthebattery

pack,contactyourCustomerSupportCenter.

Donotdrop,crush,puncturethebattery,ormakeitsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseor

mishandlingcancausethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorﬂameto“vent”fromthe

batterypackorcoin-cellbattery.Ifyourbatteryisdamaged,orifyounoticeanydischargefrom

yourbatteryorthebuildupofforeignmaterialsonthebatteryleads,stopusingthebatteryand

obtainareplacementfromthebatterymanufacturer.
