Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,

videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe

programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera

startsautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.Formoreinformationaboutusingthe

camerawithaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.

Conﬁguringcamerasettings

Youcanconﬁgurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.

Toconﬁgurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:

•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconﬁgurethecamerasettingsasdesired.

•ForWindows10:Dooneofthefollowing:

–OpentheCameraapp,clickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructionsonthe

screentoconﬁgurethecamerasettingsasdesired.

–ClickLenovoSettingsfromtheStartmenu.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthe

screentoconﬁgurethecamerasettingsasdesired.

Usingamediacardorasmartcard

Yourcomputerhasamedia-card-readerslot.Itsupportsthefollowingmediacards:

•SecureDigital(SD)card

Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.

•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card

•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card

•MultiMediaCard(MMC)

Somemodelsmightalsohaveasmart-card-readerslot.Smartcardscanbeusedforauthentication,

datastorage,andapplicationprocessing.Smartcardsalsomightprovidestrongsecurityauthentication

forsinglesign-on(SSO)withinlargeorganizations.

Thesmartcardreaderonyourcomputeronlysupportsthesmartcardofthefollowingspeciﬁcations:

•Thickness:0.76mm(0.03inch)

Donotinsertsmartcardswithslitsintoyourcomputer.Otherwise,thesmartcardreadermightgetdamaged.
