4.Checkthedockingstatusindicator.Ifthedockingstatusindicatorisnotturnedon,itindicatesthatyour
computerisnotcorrectlyattachedtothedockingstation.Checktheacpoweradapterofthedocking
station,ordisconnectandreattachtheacpoweradapter.
Note:Ifyouattachyourcomputertoadockingstation,butnotconnecttheacpoweradapterofthedocking
stationtotheacpowerconnector,yourcomputerwillenterbatterymode.
DetachingaThinkPaddockingstation
TodetachyourcomputerfromaThinkPaddockingstation,dothefollowing:
Note:TheThinkPadBasicDockdoesnothavethesystemlock.
1.Disconnectallcablesanddevicesfromthecomputer.
2.Ensurethatthesystemlockkeyisturnedtotheunlockedposition(horizontal).
3.Presstheejectbuttonuntilthecomputermovesup.Then,graspbothsidesofthecomputertoremoveit.

YoucanconnectmultipleexternaldisplaystoasupportedThinkPaddockingstation.Toensurethatthe
multipledisplaysworkcorrectly,observethefollowingguidelinesandconnectthedisplaystoappropriate
connectors.
•Donotusetheconnectorsasshowninthefollowingillustrationsatthesametimeforconnectingmultiple
displays.Otherwise,oneofthedisplaysasshownwillnotwork.
