authorizedbuilder.Thesystemdoesnotsupportunauthorizedbatteriesorbatteriesdesignedforothersystems.If
anunauthorizedbatteryorabatterydesignedforanothersystemisinstalled,thesystemwillnotcharge.
Attention:Lenovohasnoresponsibilityfortheperformanceorsafetyofunauthorizedbatteries,andprovidesno
warrantiesforfailuresordamagearisingoutoftheiruse.
•TheLenovoSolutionCenterprogramprovidesanautomaticbatterydiagnostictestthatdeterminesifthebattery
packisdefective.AbatterypackFRUshouldnotbereplacedunlessthisdiagnostictestshowsthatthebatteryis
defective.Theonlyexceptiontothisisifthebatterypackisphysicallydamagedoracustomerisreporting
apossiblesafetyissue.
•IftheLenovoSolutionCenterprogramisnotinstalledinthecomputer,thecustomershoulddownloadthisprogram
beforeanon-physicallydamagedbatterypackisreplaced.Notethataphysicallydamagedbatterypackis
anotcoveredbythewarranty.
Note:Beforeremovingthebattery,insertastraightenedpaperclipintotheemergencyresetholetoresetthe
computer.
