CustomizingtheThinkPadpointingdevice
YoucancustomizetheThinkPadpointingdevicesoyoucanuseitmorecomfortablyandefficiently.For
example,youcanchoosetoenabletheTrackPointpointingdevice,thetrackpad,orboth.Youalsocan
disableorenablethetouchgestures.
TocustomizetheThinkPadpointingdevice,dothefollowing:
1.GotoControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound➙Mouse.TheMousePropertieswindowisdisplayed.
3.IntheMousePropertieswindow,followtheinstructionsonthescreentocompletethecustomization.
ReplacingthecapoftheTrackPointpointingstick
Thecap1ontheendoftheTrackPointpointingstickisremovable.Afteryouusethecapforaperiodof
time,youmightconsiderreplacingthecapwithanewone.
