1.StarttheThinkPadSetupprogram.See“UsingtheThinkPadSetupprogram”onpage93.

2.SelectStartup➙BoottodisplaytheBootPriorityOrdersubmenu.

3.SelectthedrivethatcontainstheWindows8.1operatingsysteminstallationprogram,forexample

USBHDD.

4.PressF10.ASetupConﬁrmationwindowisdisplayed.ClickYestosavetheconﬁgurationandexit

theThinkPadSetupprogram.

5.ConnectthedrivethatcontainstheWindows8.1operatingsysteminstallationprogramtothecomputer,

andrestartthecomputer.

6.InstalltheWindows8.1ﬁxmodules.GototheMicrosoftKnowledgeBasehomepageat

http://support.microsoft.com/.Typethenumberoftheﬁxmoduleinthesearchﬁeld,thenclickSearch.

7.Installtheregistrypatches,forexample,theEnablingWakeonLANfromStandbyforENERGYSTAR

patch.Todownloadandinstalltheregistrypatches,gototheLenovoSupportWebsiteat:
