UpdatingtheUEFIBIOS

TheUEFIBIOSistheﬁrstprogramthatthecomputerrunswhenthecomputeristurnedon.TheUEFIBIOS

initializesthehardwarecomponents,andloadstheoperatingsystemandotherprograms.

YoucanupdatetheUEFIBIOSbystartingyourcomputerfromaﬂashupdateopticaldiscoraﬂashupdate

programrunningintheWindowsenvironment.Whenyouinstallanewprogram,adevicedriver,orhardware,

youmightbeinformedtoupdatetheUEFIBIOS.
