UsingtheNFCconnection

NFCisahigh-frequencyandshort-rangewirelesscommunicationstechnology.Dependingonthe

model,yourcomputermightcomewithanNFCcard.ByusingtheNFCfeature,youcanestablishradio

communicationsbetweenyourcomputerandanotherNFC-enableddeviceoveradistancenomorethana

fewcentimeters.BeforeyouusetheNFCfeature,ensurethattheNFCdeviceoptionissettoEnabled

intheThinkPadSetupprogram.See“Securitymenu”onpage98.

Bydefault,theNFCfeatureisenabled.IfyouhavedisabledtheNFCfeature,dothefollowingtoenable

upthecharms.ThenclickSettings➙ChangePCsettings➙Network➙Radiodevices.

2.SlidetheNFCswitchtotherighttoenabletheNFCfeature.
