Usingthecameras
Yourtabletmightbeequippedwithtwoconventionalcameras,afrontcameraandarearcamera.Youcan
usetheconventionalcamerastotakepicturesandrecordvideos.
Tostartthecamera,opentheStartmenu,andtapCamera.Whenthecamerastarts,thegreen
camera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthevideooutputquality.To
configurethecamerasettings,dooneofthefollowing:
•OpentheCameraapp,andclickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructions
onthescreentoconfigurethecamerasettings.
•OpentheStartmenuandclickLenovoSettings➙Camera.Followtheinstructionsonthescreento
configurethecamerasettings.
Usingpasswords
Youcansetasupervisorpasswordtopreventyourtabletfromunauthorizeduse.
ThesupervisorpasswordprotectsthesysteminformationstoredintheThinkPadTabletSetupapp.Ifonly
asupervisorpasswordisset,apasswordpromptisdisplayedwhenyoutrytostarttheThinkPadTablet
Setupapp.UnauthorizeduserscannotchangemostofthesystemconfigurationoptionsintheThinkPad
TabletSetupappwithoutthepassword.
Thesystemadministratorcansetthesamesupervisorpasswordonmanytabletstomakeadministration
easier.Itisrecommendedthatyourecordyourpasswordandstoreitinasafeplace.Ifyouforgetyour
supervisorpassword,Lenovocannotresetyourpassword.YoumusttakeyourtablettoaLenovoreselleror
aLenovomarketingrepresentativetohavethesystemboardreplaced.Proofofpurchaseisrequired,anda
feewillbechargedforpartsandservice.
