3.Connectthepowercordtoanelectricaloutlet.
4.Turnonthedockbypressingthepowerbutton.
5.Ifanexternaldisplayisavailable,connecttheexternaldisplaytotheappropriateconnector(HDMIor
DisplayPortconnector)onthedock.Theexternaldisplayshowssomewirelesspairinginstructions
whenyouconnectyourtablettotheWiGigdock.
6.PositionyourtabletclosetotheThinkPadWiGigDock,within90cm(35inches).Thedockalso
mustbewithina120-degreesectorregionrelativelytotherearofthetablet.Ensurethatnoobjects
arebetweenthedockandthetablet.
Note:EnsurethattheWiGigdockandyourtabletareplacedintherecommendedposition.Ifyounotice
anyofthefollowingconditions,adjustthekickstandslightlytoachievebetterperformance:
•AmessageisdisplayedindicatingthatthewirelessconnectiontotheWiGigdockisweak.
•ThepointerdriftsontheexternaldisplayconnectedtotheWiGigdock.
•ThetabletisunexpectedlydisconnectedfromtheWiGigdock.
ConnectingtotheThinkPadWiGigDock
ToconnectyourtablettotheThinkPadWiGigdock,dothefollowing:
1.Afterthesetupandpreparation,turnonyourtabletandthedock.
2.Taptheactioncentericononthetaskbar.TapConnect.
3.Selectyourdockfromthelistofavailabledevices.
4.Whenprompted,pressthepower/connectionbuttononthedocktoconfirmthepairing.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreentofinishtheconnection.
Afterestablishingtheinitialconnection,youcanmakeconfigurationssothatwheneverthetabletcomes
withintherequiredrange,itautomaticallygetsconnectedtothedock.
DisconnectingfromtheThinkPadWiGigDock
TodisconnectyourtabletfromtheThinkPadWiGigDock,dothefollowing:
1.Taptheactioncentericononthetaskbar.TapConnecttoopenthedevicelist.
2.LocatetheThinkPadWiGigDockandtapDisconnect.
