videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousethecamerawithotherprograms,openoneoftheprograms
andstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamerastarts
automaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.Formoreinformationaboutusingthecamera
withaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dooneofthefollowing:
•OpentheCameraapp,clicktheoptionsbuttonintheupper-leftcorner,andthenselectSettings.Follow
theinstructionsonthescreentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•OpentheCameraapp,clickthesettingsiconintheupper-rightcorner.Followtheinstructionsonthe
screentoconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaflashmediacard
Yourcomputerhasamediacardslot,itsupportsthefollowingcards:
•MultiMediaCard(MMC)module
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)card
•SecureDigital(SD)card
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)card
Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.
Attention:Whiletransferringdatatoorfromaflashmediacard,suchasanSDcard,donotputyour
computerintosleeporhibernationmodebeforethedatatransfercompletes;otherwise,yourdatacould
becomedamaged.
Installingaflashmediacard
Attention:
•Beforeyoustartinstallingacard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisactionreducesany
staticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.
Toinstallaflashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatthecardiscorrectlyoriented.
2.Insertthecardfirmlyintotheslotofthe4-in-1mediacardreader.
Iftheplug-and-playfeatureisnotenabledfortheinstalledflashmediacard,dothefollowingtoenable
thefeature:
1.GotoControlPanel.
2.ClickHardwareandSound.
3.ClickDeviceManager.Ifyouarepromptedforanadministratorpasswordorconfirmation,typethe
passwordorprovideconfirmation.
4.FromtheActionmenu,selectAddlegacyhardware.TheAddHardwareWizardstarts.
5.Followtheinstructionsonthescreen.
