BATTERY INSTALLATION 1. 2. 3. 4. Hold the two sides of the BATTERY DOOR and slide it out. Insert 3 size AA alkaline batteries. We recommend alkaline batteries for longer life. Close the BATTERY DOOR. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (Carbon-Zinc) or rechargeable (NickelCadmium) batteries.
FOR PRIVATE LISTENING You may plug the headphones into the HEADPHONE jack on the right side of the radio. The built-in speaker will automatically be disconnected. GENERAL INFORMATION This set works best outdoors or in buildings without steel frames. Metallic objects block radio waves. The use of this headphones radio while driving a car or cycling is not advised as the headphones could block out surrounding sounds resulting in a possible traffic accident.
