Tandem
winder
9.13.1 Digital frequency output
The digital frequency output is required e.g. for a
master
Slave
coupling (two motors are connected by
friction
to one
winder
shaft).
For
master-Slave
couplings it is
important
that, in
case
of
Speed
reduction
of the
master,
e.g. due to the
current
limiting function
Imax,,
the
Slave
Passes
the same field frequency to the motor as the
master.
A frequency
Signal
which is proportional to the field frequency
tan
be supplied to terminal
X9.
To activate this function the value 200
must be set
under
CO08. The corresponding setting of
pulse/Hz
tan
be calibrated
under
CO30 (see
chapter
5.6).
9.12.2
Information
about
the
Slave
drive
The
Slave
drive
tan
either be equipped with the series Software or
the variant Software. Only the
master
drive must be equipped with
the variant Software
VOO9
which is valid for the dancer-Position
control and thus the control of the field frequency.
Caution!
The acceleration and deceleration times (CO1
2EO13)
of the
Slave
must be 0 sec in the tandem
winder
application.
Otherwise, the
shaft will undergo
torsion
when accelerating or decelerating the
drive.
