9.2 Speed control
9.2.1 Overview
The speed-controlled operation (profile velocity mode) comprises the following
subfunctions:
ƒ Setpoint generation by ramp generator
ƒ Speed detection via angle encoder by differentiation
ƒ Speed control with appropriate input and output signals
ƒ Limitation of torque setpoint (torque_demand_value)
ƒ Monitoring of actual speed (velocity_actual_value) with window
function/threshold
The meaning ofthe parameters profile_acceleration, profile_decelerationand quick_stop
is described in chapter ”Positioning”.
