MS green
blinking The communication module is supplied with voltage but has no
connection to t he standard device (standard device is either switched off,
in the initialisation phase, or not available).
on The communication module is being supplied with voltage and is
connected to the standard device.
ME red on A communication module error has occurred.
BS green
off The communication module is in the ”Init” status (initialisation phase).
blinking
(2.5 Hz)
The communication module is in the ”Pre-Operational” status.
blinking
(1.0 Hz)
The communication module is in the ”Safe-Operational” status.
flickering The communication module is booting and has not yet reached the ”Init”
status (initialisation phase).
on The communication module is in the ”Operational” status.
BE red blinking Buserror/troubleisactive(e.g.theEthernet cable is unplugged). The LED
is blinking in parallel to the BS LED.
DE red on The communication module is not accepted by the standard device or
the standard device is not active. (See notes provided in the
documentation for the standard device.)
Signalling at connection X246/X247:
- Red On / blinking The EtherCAT connection is disrupted or not available.
- Green On / blinking z The EtherCAT connection is available.
z The data communication of the EtherCAT connection is active.
