 Note!
ƒ Keep the blanking cover  and the FIF protection cover  so that you can
attach them again after you have dismounted the function module.
– Without the FIF cover , the controller is inhibited.
– If no function module is plugged on, the controller without FIF cover  and
blanking cover  must not be commissioned (dangerous electrical voltage
at the FIF interface).
ƒ When two function modules are operated, make sure that the two
terminals X3/28 (controller inhibit) of the interfaces FIF I and FIF II are
AND’ed internally and must be wired according to their
application.( 166).
