5.2.3 External voltage supply
The external voltage supply can be used to establish EtherNet/IP communication for
commissioning and to query the data of the digital and analog inputs.
Furthermore, the external voltage supply serves to maintain EtherNet/IP communication if the
main supply fails.
The digital inputs RFR, DI1 ... DI5 and the analog input can continue to be evaluated.
The external voltage supply is done via the terminals 24E and GND of the terminal strip X3.
Permissible voltage (DC) / max. current:
U = 24 V DC (20 V - 0 % ... 29 V + 0 %)

Access to parameters of a device that is disconnected from the mains is not possible.
