2.1 General safety and application notes

• must only be used as directed.
Application as directed

• must never be commissioned if they display signs of damage.
• must never be technically modified.
• must never be commissioned if they are not fully mounted.
• must never be operated without required covers.
• during and after operation can have live, moving and rotating parts, depending on their degree
of protection. Surfaces can be hot.
The following applies to Lenze drive components ...
• only use the accessories approved.
• Only use original manufacturer spare parts.
Observe all specifications contained in the enclosed documentation and related documentation.
• This is the precondition for safe and trouble-free operation and for achieving the specified
product features.
