6.4 Mounting steps
Use with 9400
Proceed as follows to connect the filter:
1. Connect the filter output cable (X302) to the installation backplane of the
power supply module.
2. Connect the mains cable to terminal X301.
3. Attach the s upply-side PE conductor to the protective conductor screw
using a fork-type or a ring cable lug.
– The PE connection must comply with EN 61800-5-1.
Use with i700
How to connect the filter:
1. Connect filter output line (X302) to the power supply module.
– Cable ends (cable lugs) may be removed.
– Cable lengths may be shortened, if required.
– Wire end ferrules are not required.
2. Connect mains cable to terminal X301.
3. Mount PE conductor on the supply side to PE conductor screw using a
fork-type cable lug o r ring cable lug.
– The PE connection must be designed in accordance with EN 61800-5-1.
