INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Connect the discharge pipe to the other end of the flexible connector and
tighten the clamp with a screwdriver.

NOTICE: A rigid discharge pipe is recommended to prevent the pump (A)
from moving. If a flexible discharge hose is used, the pump (A) must be
secured in a manner that prevents it from moving. If it is allowed to move,
the float switch could be restricted by the sump wall, preventing the pump
(A) from turning on or off.
WARNING: The tether length (distance between the float switch and clamp, see picture above) is
factory pre-set to 4 in. PLEASE DO NOT ADJUST IT in order to avoid pump failure.
Plug the pump (A) into a GFCI outlet. The pump is now ready for use.
If using an extension cord, the cord should be the same the same size as the pumps
power cord and no longer than 25'. Please consult manufacture
if needing a longer extension cord.

Check the pump (A) by filling the sump pit with water and observe the
pump's (A) operation through one complete cycle and make sure the
pump (A) cannot move in the sump pit and that the float switch moves freely
up and down.

NOTICE: After the installation of the necessary plumbing, check valve and
flexible connector, follow the glue manufacturer's instructions for safety
precautions and curing time.

PRÉPARATION
AVERTISSEMENT: Utilisez toujours la poignée pour soulever la pompe. N'utilisez jamais de cordon
d'alimentation pour soulever la pompe. Pour éviter les brûlures cutanées, débranchez et laissez le
temps à la pompe de refroidir après des périodes d'utilisation prolongée.
Temps d'Assemblage Estimé (Nouvelle installation): 30 minutes (ou plus long en cas d'installer le
nouveau puisard).

La décharge normale pour cette pompe (A) est de 1-1/2". Cependant, si la pipe de décharge de
1-1/4" existante est déjà en place, enroulez les filetages de l'adaptateur de
1-1/4" (inclus ) avec la bande de filetage et le filetage dans la
décharge de la pompe.
Installez un clapet anti-retour de la pompe de puisard (non inclus) dans la
pompe (A).

Branchez un connecteur flexible (non inclus) au clapet anti-retour.

Placez la pompe (A) dans le puisard. Assurez-vous que rien interfère avec
le fonctionnement de l'interrupteur à flotteur

NOTICE: Retirez toutes les petites pierres, du gravier, de la boue, ou
d'autres débris du puisard avant d'installer la pompe (A). Le diamètre
minimal de la fosse de puisard est de 14". La profondeur minimale
de la fosse est de 16". Construisez le puisard avec des carreaux, le
béton, l'acier, ou en plastique. Vérifiez vos codes locaux de plomberie pour
les matériaux approuvés et une bonne installation.
