IV. FIRST AID MEASURES
EYES: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 -20 minutes. Remove contact
lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or
doctor for treatment advice.
SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Get
medical attention if irritation persists.
INHALATION: Move person to fresh air; if effects occur, consult a poison control center or doctor for
treatment advice.
INGESTION: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip
a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by the poison control
center or doctor. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
NOTES TO MEDICAL DOCTOR: No specific antidote. Treatment of exposure should be directed at
the control of symptoms and the clinical condition of the patient.
V. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Lower Explosion Limits: ND Upper Explosion Limits: ND
NFPA/HMIS Rating: Health: 1 Fire: 0 Reactivity: 0
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
x Foam Alcohol Foam x CO

UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: Finely dispersed particles can form explosive
mixtures in air. Irritating or toxic substances may be emitted upon thermal decomposition.
FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: Weal full protective equipment with positive-pressure, self-contained
breathing apparatus. Do not breathe smoke, gases or vapors generated. Isolate fire area. Evacuate
downwind. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray. Dike area to prevent run-off and
contamination of water sources. Equipment or materials involved in pesticide fires may become
contaminated. Prevent use of contaminated buildings, area, and equipment until decontaminated.
Fertilizer will become slippery when wet. Guard against falls. Remove product from area of fire at first
opportunity.
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Heated above 270F, urea decomposes to biuret,
ammonia, and nitrogen oxides. When subjected to extremely high temperatures, potash may release
small quantities of chlorine gas.
VI. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
RELEASE NOTES: If material is spilled, and not contaminated, sweep, vacuum or shovel material into
labeled container with minimum generation of dust for reuse or disposal. If contaminated, scoop into
containers for disposal. Do not allow product to contaminate any body of water.
VII. HANDLING AND STORAGE
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid breathing dust. Do not
take internally. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, chewing gum,
using tobacco, using the toilet or smoking. Keep away from other pesticides, seed, feed, foodstuffs and
water sources. Do not contaminate water by disposal of equipment washwaters.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: Store in a cool dry place in original container. Keep out of reach of children.
VIII. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION
ENGINEERING CONTROLS: Local exhaust ventilation is recommended to keep exposure to
airborne contaminants below exposure limits.
PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT:
