The Volta, by FROM Industrial Design, is an innovative linear suspension lamp that takes state of the art technol-
ogy and compacts it into a simple form and user experience. The lamp oats on two cables that both power
the light and suspend it. The Volta can also rotate 360 degrees around these cords to create uplight, downlight
or any angle in between. The lamp also subtly houses the dimmer on the end of its body for easy access. It can
be hung parallel to the oor, slightly tilted—or in groups to give it a completely different look, from professional
to whimsical.
