5.1 System Architecture
We implemented NetWare printer sharing functionality into the
printer server itself, thus allowing one or more printers attached by a
printer server to be connected to the network. We have developed the
printer server to support NetW are printer server.
Embedded printer server, wh ic h em ul at es th e “queue m anagem ent
func tional it y” of NetW are printer server, PSERVER program running on
the NetW are server. A user first prints a job at a workstatio n, the job is
routed to a NetWare server, the NetW are server stores the job in a print
queue and then the printer server gets the print job from the queue to
printers.
