8.4.3 TCP/IP
You can configure the printer server to automatically get IP from
DHCP server or manually specify static IP. The printer server also has a
built-in DHCP server. You can enable this DHCP serve r and let it
manages IP for you.
If you need the printer server to automatically get an IP from DHCP
ser ver, sel ect “ En able O bt a in T CP/I P S et tings Au tom at ic all y ( Use DHCP/
BO O T P)”. Yo u also ca n s e lec t “ Dis ab l e Us e the f ol l o wing T CP/I P
Settings” t o m an uall y ass ig n “ IP Address ” , “ Subn et M as k ” and “G a te way”
for the printer server.
You can enable/disable for the printer server’s DHCP ser v er . T he
DHCP server is disabled by default. If the DHCP Server is enabled, you
have to assign a range of IP addresses here. F ill in the “ St art IP”,
“Ra nge”, “Ga t ewa y”, “ DN S” , and “Dom ai n” ” , and t he printer server will
assign a unique IP for each client.
