Owner's manual

Never look at the sources of bright light or lasers through the camera or the microscope: it will
cause PERMANENT RETINAL DAMAGE and may lead to BLINDNESS!
Do not disassemble the camera on your own.
Protect the camera from moisture; do not use it in rainy weather.
Protect the camera from impacts or excessive pressure.
Do not overtighten the locking screws.
Keep the camera away from hazardous environment, home and car heaters, incandescent lamps
or open fire.
When cleaning the lenses, first blow any dust or debris off the surface or wipe them off with a
soft brush. Then wipe the lens with a soft cleaning cloth dipped in lens cleaning fluid.
Never touch the optics with your fingers.
Caution
Care and maintenance
After unpacking your microscope and before using it for the first time check for durability of
every component and connection. Do not apply excessive pressure, lest you break your
instrument. Be careful during your observations; always replace the dust cover after you are
finished with observations to protect your microscope from dust and stains. Do not try to take
your microscope apart, as you might damage the intricate optical system within.
Store the microscope in a dry and cool place, away from possible impacts and dust. Do not try to
perform repairs of any kind on this instrument – contact a Levenhuk service center instead. If
you are not using your microscope for extended periods of time, store the objective lenses and
eyepieces separately from the microscope itself.
Connect the camera to your PC via a USB-cable that also acts as a power cable, so you do not
have to plug it into a power source.
