3-Way Switch and Pilot Light

Connect wires per WIRING DIAGRAM as follows:
1. Remove approximately 5/8” (1.6 cm) insulation from each circuit conductor (figure 1).
2. Loop wires clockwise 3/4 turn around terminal screws (figure 2).
3.
FIRMLY tighten screws over wire loops. Terminal screws accept up to #12AWG copper or copper clad wire.
4. Mount device in wall box with screws provided. Attach wallplate.
5. Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse.
Installation is complete.
• Pilot light illuminates when the load is switched ON.

NOTE:
• DO NOT use this product to replace a switch that had been controlling a light with only two wires present. A neutral wire is required for the pilot light to illuminate.
• DO NOT remove the Break-off Fin. This product is not compatible with separate feed (2-circuit) applications.
