Can the rechargeable backup battery be replaced in the DDS15, DDE06, DD710 or DDF01?
No, the battery is permanently installed.
What happens to my devices if my home loses power?
The DDS15, DDE06, DD710 and DDF01 all include a built-in backup battery that is used to
keep track of the current time of day even in the event of a power loss. These devices have
been designed to maintain the time for more than 72 hours without power.
The DDMX1 and DDL06-BL do not have this built-in backup battery, so you may need to
reconnect your device to the Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer App to update to the current time
in the event of a long or short-term power interruption.
If I lose power, do I have to reset all the programming?
Settings such as programmed events, minimum dim level, etc. are permanently programmed
into the device. Power loss will not affect these settings and they will remain unchanged. For
devices without a backup battery, such as DDMX1 and DDL06-BL, a connection will be
required to update the time.
Do the Decora Digital Controls have a locator light?
All Decora Digital controls (except for the DD0SR-1 Remote) have a locator light. The locator
light is the small green LED light located below the rocker switch that illuminates when the load
is off. This light is helpful in locating the device in the dark. This light can be disabled using the
Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer app for users who choose not to have this light illuminated
(DDL06-1L users must disable this manually).
What type of bulbs can be used with Decora Digital Controls?

Leviton recommends only LED and CFL bulbs that are labeled as DIMMABLE be used with the
Decora Digital Dimmers. The packaging on the bulb should identify it as dimmable.
Will I save energy if I dim LED and CFL bulbs?
Yes, dimming any bulb reduces energy consumption and is the perfect way to set the ambiance
for any occasion. Below is an example of the energy savings* realized when you dim
incandescent, dimmable LED or dimmable CFL bulbs.
