Extra Heavy Duty Hospital Grade Modular Wiring Devices
Leviton hospital grade modular receptacles and switches are found in healthcare facilities across the country.
These devices are suitable for use in all 15A or 20A, 125V applications within healthcare facilities. Receptacles
are offered in standard, tamper-resistant, power indication, illuminated and isolated ground versions of both our
conventional and Decora Plus™ duplex configurations. We also offer a version specifically designed for use in MRI
and other applications exposed to high magnetic fields. Switches are offered in standard toggle, tamper-resistant
key toggle, illuminated toggle, and now, antimicrobial toggle versions. Ease of installation and change out is critical
in healthcare environments. Lev-Lok wiring devices can be installed or changed out much quicker and safer than
conventional wiring devices.
Receptacle Features and Benefits:
Nickel-plated brass single-piece, wrap-around mounting strap
with integral ground contacts, for continuous conductivity and
secure ground path
Constructed with impact-resistant thermoplastic nylon, assuring
durability of the device
Extra heavy duty triple wipe “T” contacts provide superior plug
retention force to meet the rugged plug demands found in
healthcare environments
Grounding clip permanently secured to strap makes for most
reliable ground connection
Smooth face prevents dirt from collecting and makes cleaning
faster and simpler
Four corner latches securely fasten the devices face to the body
Wiring modules available in several colors for easy circuit
identification: white (standard), red (for emergency circuits) and
orange (for isolated ground circuits)
Wiring modules are also available with UL Type XHHW-2 building
wire for low leakage current applications
Switch Features and Benefits:
Heavy gauge galvanized steel mounting strap with self-grounding
clip for reliable connection
Color-coded covers: 15 Amp-Blue, 20 Amp-Red for easy circuit
identification
Available in single pole and three-way configurations
Standard thermoplastic toggle has high-impact strength and
withstands elevated operating temperatures
Illuminated toggle provides easy switch visibility in dark
environments
Key-operated locking toggle provides tamper-resistant
protection in public areas
Antimicrobial treated toggle designed to reduce the growth of
harmful bacteria on switch surface
