Samsung SmartThings Bundle
APPLICATION
Whole house automation is made simple with a strategic
partnership between Samsung SmartThings and
Leviton, resulting in a pre-packaged home automation
starter kit. Control and automate lights, save money on
energy, include connected thermostats, and add a wide
variety of third party solutions to create a truly custom
yet aordable and accessible smart home. Set Leviton
lighting controls to activate when there’s motion, or turn
o when there isn’t, and control and automate multiple
lights with one button.
Start your next smart home project with the Samsung
SmartThings Hub and Leviton Z-Wave Plus bundle,
complete with Hub, Dimmer, and Switch. Add as many
or as few smart devices as you want from Leviton,
choreograph them to work together in one free app, and
create a smarter home that automatically reacts as life
happens. Whether you have two smart devices (like the
Leviton Z-Wave Plus Dimmer and Switch) or 100, all you
need is one Hub to create a smart home.
So long as you have the free SmartThings app and a
Hub, you can turn any home into a smart home by adding
connected smart devices including many Z-Wave Plus
and Lumina RF options from Leviton. By placing these
smart lighting controls, thermostats, plug-in outlets,
plus third-party locks, cameras, and other smart devices
in the home, the end-user can monitor and control them
using the SmartThings app for iOS, Android, or Windows.
Receive important notifications about what’s happening
at the house, control smart devices with a simple tap,
and automate the home to react to unique preferences.
As needs change, easily customize SmartThings to work
in new and dierent ways. Just set rules for what you’d
like the smart devices to do while asleep, awake, gone,
or back home, and SmartThings will do the rest. The
SmartThings app oers a complete home monitoring
and security solution that allows customers to get
instant alerts if there’s unwanted entry, smoke, leaks,
or other unexpected activity.
INTEROPERABILITY AND EXPANSION
In addition to SmartThings’ own family of sensors and
the wireless lighting and load controls from Leviton,
you can also control hundreds of connected devices
from other brands through the SmartThings open
platform. Look for the “Works with SmartThings” logo
for guaranteed interoperability. Utilize Google Home
or the Amazon Alexa voice control products, allowing
customers to say, “Alexa, turn on the kitchen lights”.
