1 LED status indicator // Indicates active polar pattern (A),
active low-cut fi lter (B) and pre-attenuation settings (C):

2 Polar pattern slide switch // Adjust the slide switch to choose
between wide cardioid, cardioid or supercardioid polar pattern.
3 Attenuation level slide switch // Attenuation is used in high SPL
environments in order to prevent clipping of the microphone, mixer
and other audio equipment.
4 Low-cut lter slide switch // Low-cut fi lters eliminate low-frequency
sounds to compensate the proximity effect and reduce
structure-borne noise.
5 LED slide switch // The LED status indicator can be turned on/off
using the slide switch.
// Getting started
1 Connect your microphone to your mixing console, audio interface or microphone preamplifi er with a 3-pin XLR cable.
2 Supply the MTP 940 CM with 48V phantom power.
3 Set the input gain on your mixing console, preamp, etc. accordingly.
4 To ensure best sound quality, do not cover any part of the grille.
