Note:
If the retention wire on your slim tube is too long, you may cut the length
slightly. Be careful not to shorten the length too much, as this could affect
how well the hearing aid remains in your ear.
Tip:
The dome should be completely, or
almost completely, in the ear canal.
The ear tip cannot touch the eardrum.
Proper insertion of the dome is key to
getting enough loudness and to avoiding
whistling. If you wear eyeglasses, first
position your hearing aid on your ear
before you put your glasses on.
You can use a mirror to ensure that your hearing aid is positioned
correctly onto your ear.

Place the retention wire in the bowl of your ear to ensure that
your hearing aid remains securely in place.
