Even if your domes are well cared for, they will need to be replaced every
2-3 months due to general wear and tear.
Slim tube
Wax, dirt or condensation can block your slim tube and prevent
sound from going through. Therefore, your slim tube must be
cleaned weekly. If a blockage is noted, follow the steps below to
remove the blockage.
Remove the slim tube from your hearing aid.
Use a damp cloth to clean the outside of your slim tube.
Thread the cleaning wire provided
all the way through your slim tube
to remove any earwax or foreign
particles. The cleaning wire should
be inserted at the point where
your slim tube attaches to your
hearing aid and must be pushed
all the way through the slim tube
and out through the dome.
