Listening environment/
program
When to use this listening environment
Environment 1/
Program 1:
Everyday Use
Suitable for most listening situations. Ideal for
one-on-one conversations, going to meetings
or to church, watching the television or listening
to the radio.
Environment 2/
Program 2:
Indoor Noisy
Suitable for most noisy environments. Ideal
for smaller groups, large rooms, restaurants,
listening to people in a car, cinema etc.
Environment 3/
Program 3:
Outdoor
Suitable for traffic or situations where you need
to be aware of some background sounds for
safety but do not want to be too bothered by
unnecessary noise.
Environment 4/
Program 4:
Music
Suitable for listening to music in situations
where there is not too much background noise.
The quality may be different depending on the
music source.
Environment 5/
Program 5:
Telecoil
Used with telephones and in churches, theatres
or various buildings that have an induction
loop system. The presence of a loop system in
a building will be indicated by signage. Once
activated, speech is sent directly to the hearing
aid, without any background noise.
