Setup was not successful (My printer was
not found on the network)
• Verify the network status of your computer’s wireless
adapter. If the network is not active, you did not
reconnect to the network. Click Back to return to the
previous screen.
• If the computer appears on the network, but the
printer does not, go to step 9 on page 6, and repeat
the install process.
• If you can see the Lexmark-N5 network using the
wireless search feature, it is likely the printer adapter
never connected with your network. Go to step 9 on
page 6, and repeat the install process.
The Lexmark printer software installation
screen does not appear
1 Close all open software applications.
2 Restart your computer.
3 Reinsert the printer software CD.
– If the Lexmark printer software installation
screen appears, continue with step 3 on page
12.
– If not, continue with the following steps:
a From your desktop, double-click My
Computer.
b Double-click the CD-ROM drive icon.
c If necessary, double-click setup.exe.
d Continue with step 3 on page 12.
An error message appears
Follow the instructions on any error message that appears on
your computer screen. Click the ? or Help button for
additional information.
There is not a Network button on the
Results: No Printer Attached screen
