Warning—Potential Damage: Controller board electronic components are easily damaged by static
electricity. Touch something metal on the printer before touching any controller board electrical components
or connectors.
1 Access the controller board.

“Accessing the controller board” on page 22.
2 Unpack the printer hard disk.
3 Remove the screws attached to the printer hard disk mounting bracket, and then remove the bracket.
4 Locate the appropriate connector on the controller board.
