Select the printer icon.

Select Open.

Select Settings. The Printer - Settings screen appears.

Select the serial port to which you want to attach the printer. The Serial
Port - Settings screen appears.

Select the settings you want to use.

Select OK.
The next example shows an alternative way to configure OS/2.
From the OS/2 prompt, enter the following command:
mode com1:9600,n,8,1,,DTR=on,OCTS=on,ODSR=on
You can also include the following command statement in the CONFIG.SYS file
on your computer so that it runs each time you start your computer:
run c:\os2\mode.com com1:,,,,,DTR=on,OCTS=on,ODSR=on
