Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)
thisdevicemustacceptanyinterferencereceived,including
interferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.
Note:
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywith
thelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,pursuanttopart15
oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovide
reasonableprotectionagainstharmfulinterferenceina
residentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,uses,
andcanradiateradiofrequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalled
andusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycause
harmfulinterferencetoradiocommunications.
However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnot
occurinaparticularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoes
causeharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,
whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffand
on,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrecttheinterference
byoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
-Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
-Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentand
receiver.
-Connecttheequipmentintoanoutletoncircuitdifferent
fromthattowhichthereceiverisconnected.
-Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnician
forhelpandforadditionalsuggestions.

Thismodelphoneisaradiotransmitterandreceiver.
Itisdesignedandmanufacturednottoexceedthe
emissionlimitsforexposuretoradiofrequency(RF)energy
setbytheFederalCommunicationsCommissionoftheU.S.
Government.
Theguidelinesarebasedonstandardsthatweredeveloped
byindependentscientificorganizationsthroughperiodicand
thoroughevaluationofscientificstudies.Thestandards
includeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethe
safetyofallpersons,regardlessofageandhealth.
Theexposurestandardforwirelesshandsetsemploysa
unitofmeasurementknownastheSpecificAbsorption
Rate,orSAR.TheSARlimitsetbytheFCCis1.6W/kg.
Thetestsareperformedinpositionsandlocations(e.g.,at
theearandwornonthebody)asrequiredbytheFCCfor
eachmodel.
TheSARvalueforthismodelhandsetwhentestedforuse
attheearis0.29W/kgandwhenwornonthebody,as
describedinthisuserguide,is0.52W/kg.
