SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAUTION Installation Installation work must be performed in accordance with the National Electric Code by qualified and authorized personnel only. Do not install the product where it will be exposed to sea wind (salt spray) directly. This can cause corrosion on the product. Corrosion could cause product malfunction or inefficient operation.

Be careful not to let the cable pass over the wireless equipment. You can arrange the lines more easily while placing the top cover and fastening as shown in the figure 2. STANDARD OPERATION 9 STANDARD OPERATION Installation wizard 1 5 The installation is finished once the Complete button is tapped. The welcome screen will be displayed after synchronizing with the indoor unit. This may take up to 90 seconds. NOTE 2 Please check the settings displayed on the screen and set them up. If the installation of wizard is not complete, it will run at every booting.
STANDARD OPERATION View Screen The Operating Information screen displays the following according to the indoor unit connected: The Home screen of the wired remote controller consists of the Operating Information screen, Air Quality Level screen and System Monitoring screen.

It cools the room with a pleasant and fresh wind.
STANDARD OPERATION Setting temperature Fan speed setting Select the setting temperature or current temperature icon. Select the fan speed icon to select the desired fan speed from the options list. The set temperature area for the current operation Option Low-Med Med High Power Auto mode is displayed. Set the desired temperature by adjusting the lever left and right.
STANDARD OPERATION 13 NOTE Tap the icon to go to the Error History screen. Schedule operation Check the schedule information that is currently operating. Please refer to the Schedule’s Detailed Description page. Lock When locking a function by remote controller or central controller, a lock icon is displayed. NOTE When you enter Settings – General Settings – Lock menu, you can set/check the lock status. NOTE The air purifying icon is only displayed when air purifying is on and operating.
ADVANCED FUNCTION ADVANCED FUNCTION Try the advanced function of the product. Detailed settings other than set or cancel is required for this item. Tapping an area above the item changes The product supports this function, but is in an inoperable state. The function can be used just by selecting set or cancel without detailed settings. NOTE The color of the upper icon changes according to the status of the settings.
ADVANCED FUNCTION 15 Robot Cleaning O Humidification O Mosquito Away Zone Control After using the air conditioner for a certain period, the kit attached to the product cleans the filter. Available after 30 seconds of stopping product On / Off operation, select whether to operate automatically as an option. If the room is dry, the humidifier installed on the product can be operated. SCHEDULE SCHEDULE You can use the product by registering the schedule from the menu. Please set the day of the week for which the schedule is to be operated in. Editing of the schedule will be completed and returned to the schedule status screen. NOTE Only one schedule mode can be set for any given time period. The schedule can be set in increments of 10 minutes for a minimum length of 1 hour. Displays the seasonal information of the current operating schedule.
SCHEDULE 17 Schedule setting NOTE Select the setting icon and use the schedule more efficiently through advanced settings. Mode Description You can hold the existing registered Vacation / Event schedule operation and temporarily change the operation mode to use. A simple change can create a pleasant indoor environment suitable for the season. Switch Season *Set the schedule operation mode using the edit schedule mode function first.
SCHEDULE Display schedule status The status of the schedule can be checked on the Operating Information screen of the Home screen. 3 Schedule hold (temporary schedule) The currently running schedule is temporarily suspended and is temporarily operating in another mode. Displays the types of schedule hold. Displays the schedule hold function duration and the time can be set when tapped. 1 Schedule hold will end immediately when tapped. Standard schedule Displays the current operating schedule mode.
ENERGY 19 ENERGY Tap on the energy item in the menu. NOTE You can check energy usage and set power saving settings for energy saving. Depending on the units selected, the accumulated energy usage/power over a day/week/month is displayed. Trend graph You can check the trend of outdoor unit operation rate, indoor temperature, and desired temperature information during the day. Usage graph You can compare energy usage time/power usage on a weekly/monthly/annual basis.

General settings for the use environment configuration, and product settings and SVC setting for using air conditioner/ventilation products are available. SETTINGS 23 NOTE Depending on the product, some functions may not work. CAUTION Set it to off if the low noise operation time setting and night outdoor cooling setting functions are not used. This is a function to select the use of CN-Port of On / Off indoor unit. You can display on the screen by applying offset to the temperature value detected by the remote controller.
USING LG THINQ APPLICATION USING LG THINQ APPLICATION You can easily change the desired settings through the ThinQ App after directly connecting the wired remote controller to the ThinQ App. NOTE Bluetooth function is not supported. Even when the “Wired Remote Controller - ThinQ App” is connected, the image of the connected indoor unit will be displayed on the ThinQ App screen. Please change the name displayed in the App to differentiate it from the “Indoor Unit-ThinQ App” connection.
