ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Installing the Monitor When moving or lifting the monitor, follow these instructions to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation regardless of its shape or size. This may result in damage to the screen or some of the pixels used to create images.

CAUTION To protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. Stand Base 2 Put the stand body on the monitor aligning with holes for fixing screws and fix two screws to the holes to assemble the stand body and the monitor together. CAUTION To protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. 2 Open the screw cover on the back of the stand base and use a screwdriver to remove the two screws. For more information on installation and usage, refer to the Kensington lock user manual or visit the website at http://www.kensington.com. This monitor supports the specification of the standard wall mount plate or compatible device. Connect the monitor to the table with the Kensington lock cable. 29EA93 1 Place the screen face down.

Detailed installation instructions can be obtained from your local retail store. Please refer to the manual to install and set up a tilting wall mounting bracket.

To use USB 3.0, connect the A-B type USB 3.0 cable included with the product to the PC. INSTALLING LG Monitor Software ENGLISH ENG INSTALLING LG MONITOR SOFTWARE Insert the the owner's manual CD included in the product package into your PC's CD driver and install the LG Monitor Software. 1 Set the default Web browser to Internet Explorer. 3 Follow the instructions to proceed with the installation. NOTE To use the True Color Finder function, you must purchase the supported calibrator. For details on supported calibrators and graphic cards, see the True Color Finder user guide. If you have changed the input port, it is recommend that you calibrate the monitor's picture quality again.

TROUBLESHOOTING 35 TROUBLESHOOTING Is the monitor's power cord plugged in? Check if the power cord is correctly plugged in to the power outlet. Is the power indicator on? Check the power cable connection and press the power button. Is the power indicator displaying red? Check that the connected input is enabled (Menu - Input). Is the power indicator blinking? If the monitor is in power-saving mode, move the mouse or press any key on the keyboard to switch the display on.
TROUBLESHOOTING NOTE ENGLISH ENG Check if the video card's resolution or frequency is within the range allowed by the monitor and set to the recommended (optimal) resolution in Control Panel > Display > Settings. Failing to set the video card to the recommended (optimal) resolution may result in blurred text, a dimmed screen, a truncated display area or misalignment of the display. The configuration procedure may differ depending on your computer and/or operating system.

PROPER POSTURE 39 PROPER POSTURE Adjust the screen so that you can comfortably view at a slight downward angle from your natural eye level. Take a break for approximately ten minutes every hour to reduce any fatigue caused by long-time usage. The stand of the touch monitor allows the product to be used in the optimum position. Adjust the stand angle from -5° to 20° to obtain the best view of the screen. You should be looking slightly down at the screen.
Make sure to read the Safety Precautions before using the product. Keep the Owner's Manual(CD) in an accessible place for future reference. The model and serial number of the SET is located on the back and one side of the SET. Record it below should you ever need service.
