ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Lifting and moving the TV CAUTION Avoid touching the screen at all times, as this may result in damage to the screen or some of the pixels used to create images. It is recommended to move the TV in the box or packing material that the TV originally came in. Before moving or lifting the TV, disconnect the power cord and all cables. Hold the top and bottom of the TV frame firmly. Make sure not to hold the transparent part, speaker, or speaker grill area.
ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Setting up the TV ENGLISH Put your TV on a pedestal stand and mount the TV on a table or wall. Attaching the stand If you are not mounting the TV to a wall, use the following instructions to attach the stand. CAUTION When attaching the stand to the TV set, place the screen facing down on a cushioned table or flat surface to protect the screen from scratches. Make sure that the screws are fastened tightly.

Leave a 10 cm (4 inches) (minimum) space from the wall for proper ventilation. The Kensington security system connector is located at the back of the TV. MAKING CONNECTIONS 19 Connect a HD receiver, DVD Player, VCR or Gaming device to the TV and select an appropriate input mode. HDMI connection HDMI is the best way to connect a device. Transmits the digital video and audio signals from an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the HDMI cable as shown on the following illustration. NOTE Use a High Speed HDMI™ Cable. High Speed HDMI™ Cables are tested to carry an HD signal up to 1080p and higher.
MAKING CONNECTIONS HDMI to DVI connection NOTE HDMI IN or AUDIO IN (RGB/DVI) If you do not use an optional external speaker, connect the external device to the TV with the optional audio cable. AUDIO IN (PC) ENGLISH Transmits the digital video signal from an external device to the TV. Connect the external device and the TV with the HDMI to DVI cable as shown in the following illustration. To transmit an audio signal, connect an optional audio cable.

MAKING CONNECTIONS Connecting a PC ENGLISH NOTE It is recommended to use an HDMI connection for the best image quality. In PC mode, there may be noise associated with the resolution, vertical pattern, contrast or brightness. If noise is present, change the PC output to another resolution, change the refresh rate to another rate or adjust the brightness and contrast on the PICTURE menu until the picture is clear. The synchronization input form for Horizontal and Vertical frequencies is separate.

Reliez l’appareil externe et le téléviseur au moyen d’un câble DVI-HDMI, comme l’indique l’illustration suivante. HDMI IN ou AUDIO IN (RGB/DVI) Si vous n'utilisez pas de haut-parleur externe optionnel, raccordez l'appareil externe au téléviseur au moyen d'un câble audio optionnel.

En mode PC, il peut y avoir du bruit associé à la résolution, au motif vertical, au contraste ou à la brillance. Si vous observez du bruit, changez la résolution de la sortie PC, changez la fréquence de rafraîchissement, ou réglez la brillance et le contraste dans le menu IMAGE pour obtenir une image nette.

Pour changer les piles, ouvrez le couvercle de leur compartiment et insérez des piles (AAA de 1,5 V) en faisant correspondre les bornes et à ce qui figure sur l’étiquette à l’intérieur du compartiment, puis remettez le couvercle en place.
